This program is a special immigration pathway designed for anyone who is self-sufficient, has passive income, and does not need to work in Italy.
It allows individuals who do not need to worry about having a job, working, investing large sums of money, or running a business to live in Italy with their families.
There are two key requirements in this program:
You must have a home in Italy—either rented or purchased—and a stable passive income.
If you meet these two conditions, we can apply for your residence permit even with just a Schengen Visa, without the need for a D Visa. It’s a shortcut to permanent residency and, eventually, an Italian passport.
Rented or purchased property
A minimum stable passive income of €31,000 per year
International health insurance
D Visa
Also known as the Italy Golden Visa.
This is a 2-year residence permit for non-EU citizens who invest in strategic assets for the Italian economy and society. It is renewable upon expiration and grants you the freedom to live, work, and study in Italy. It is one of the easiest paths to permanent residency and eventually an Italian passport.
Only individuals are eligible for the Investor Visa. Applications by legal entities will not be considered. The applicant must be an individual over the age of eighteen.
Requirements:
ꕹ D Visa
ꕹ Power of attorney issued on behalf of your lawyer
ꕹ Valid health insurance coverage in Italy
ꕹ Legal clearance (Nulla Osta) – completed by your lawyer
This is a new immigration program designed for freelancers and remote workers, including those employed by foreign companies. Millions of professionals now prefer working from home. If you’re one of them—if you don’t need to physically attend a workplace, have a suitable income, and can prove it—then you may be eligible for the Digital Nomad Visa.
Steps in the Process:
As with all programs, you must first obtain a D Visa from the Italian Consulate.
Once in Italy, you must submit your residence permit application within 8 days of arrival, along with the required documents.
BENEFITS:
Valid for 1 year and renewable.
Family members (spouse and children) can live with you in Italy.
No quotas or limits on the number of visas.
No legal clearance (Nulla Osta) required.
